Holy Names Academy seeks a dynamic and engaging full-time Spanish teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will be able to teach multiple levels of high school Spanish, helping students develop proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening while fostering an appreciation for the diverse cultures of Spanish-speaking communities. The ideal candidate inspires confidence in students, creates an engaging and supportive classroom environment, and collaborates with colleagues to support the academic, social, and personal growth of young women.

About Holy Names Academy

Holy Names Academy is an all-girls Catholic high school founded in 1880 by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, World Languages, or a related field
  • Fluency in Spanish and strong knowledge of Spanish-speaking cultures
  • Ability to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desired Qualities

  • Masters degree preferred
  • Experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level
