Job Summary:
A Stocker is responsible for making sure that customers have access to the products they are looking for by organizing displays and storage. Their duties include maintaining inventory, adding price labels to items, ordering additional stock from warehouse and putting products on shelves according to an organized system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all items have a price label
- Manage and maintain the storage conditions of goods received from the warehouse.
- Manage the cleanliness of the store.
- Provide customer service while arranging merchandise.
- Ensure that merchandise is ordered from the warehouse.
- Receive merchandise that comes from the warehouse and ensure that the merchandise is unloaded and stored according to established procedure.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store and enhance the appearance of the store by adopting the most appropriate display techniques.
- Assist cashiers with bagging customer goods during busy periods
