We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Science Teacher to join our vibrant K–8 Catholic school community in Woodbridge, Virginia. Position Overview
The successful candidate will teach middle school science, helping students develop both a strong academic foundation and a deeper relationship with Christ. The ideal candidate will help students explore the harmony between faith and reason, fostering an appreciation for both scientific inquiry and Catholic intellectual tradition.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission of the school
- Desire to share the love of Christ with young people
- Strong instructional skills and understanding of effective teaching practices
- Passion for helping students grow in both knowledge and virtue
Preferred:
- Teaching experience in science
- Virginia teaching license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in a Catholic school setting
- Background in a science-related field
Please Note: Teacher certification is not required for employment. We welcome qualified candidates who are not yet certified and will provide support and guidance through the certification process.
