What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Language Arts position at Holy Family Catholic School?
- Develop and implement age-appropriate, engaging Middle School Language Arts lessons aligned with Holy Family’s curriculum.
- Create lesson plans that promote academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth for young learners.
- Assess student progress using a variety of methods and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
- Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student behavior and apply effective behavior-management strategies.
- Integrate Catholic values and faith formation into daily instruction and classroom culture.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and support staff to support student success.
- Collaborate with the Middle School PLC.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in school activities, professional learning communities, school committees and Diocesan meetings.
