Role Description
Seeking a dynamic Pre-K Lead Teacher to join Holy Family Preschool’s creative, supportive team in August 2026. This is a part-time, on-site role located in Marietta, GA. The Pre-K Lead Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and promoting the social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive growth of young children. Responsibilities include developing curriculum, instructing students, managing classroom activities, and collaborating with parents and staff to support student development and prepare children for their Kindergarten journey ahead. Part-time weekday hours (9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Monday-Friday) and same breaks off as the Cobb County School System. Learn more: www.holyfamilycc.org/preschool.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Experience in teaching required and Pre-K or Kindergarten instruction preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of Early Childhood Education practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and classroom management skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or relevant teaching certification is preferred
- Ability to foster a nurturing, joyful classroom environment
- Respectful of the institutions of the Roman Catholic faith and able to convey age-appropriate Catholic teaching
