Holy Divers Aquatic Weed Removal is a growing waterfront property maintenance company based in Alexandria, Minnesota that services the majority of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. We specialize in manual, SCUBA-based lake weed removal, shoreline cleanup, sunken watercraft/vehicle salvage, bog removal, and various niche underwater services that help homeowners reclaim their lakefronts without relying on harmful chemical sprays, solutions, or tablets.
We are looking for a creative, reliable Social Media Content Creator to help capture, edit, and post fun, engaging content that shows the uniqueness and scope of our work above and below water. Our goal with this position is to drastically increase local industry awareness and inform the general populous about the benefits of aquatic weed management.
Position Overview
The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for creating short-form video content, reels, before-and-after videos, educational posts, and promotional clips for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Google Business Profile.
This is a performance/project-based role paid per completed reel and per completed video. The ideal candidate understands social media trends, knows how to make eye-catching content quickly, and can turn raw jobsite footage into professional, attention-grabbing marketing materials accompanied by on-screen text and music.
Responsibilities
Create high-quality short-form reels and videos using provided or self-captured footage.
Edit videos with strong hooks, captions, music, transitions, branding, and calls to action.
Highlight before-and-after transformations of lake weed removal, dock cleanups, shoreline work, and underwater services.
Create brief educational content about aquatic weeds, invasive species, muck buildup, lake health, and the benefits of manual removal.
Develop fun, creative, and entertaining content that fits the Holy Divers brand.
Capture on-site footage when needed, including jobsites, divers, equipment, lakefronts, docks, weeds, and customer results.
Follow current social media trends and suggest new content ideas while storyboarding future content.
Maintain a consistent brand style that feels personable, professional, local, and memorable.
Ideal Candidate

Owns own camera/video equipment.
Proven portfolio experience creating reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, or social media ads.
Strong video editing skills using apps such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva, Instagram, TikTok Studio, GoPro Studio, or similar tools.
Comfortable working with outdoor, lakefront, construction, landscaping, or service-business content.
Creative eye for before-and-after transformations.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
Able to work independently.
Bonus if you have experience with local business marketing, SEO, lake life content, outdoor brands, or environmental education.

Pay: $150.00 - $250.00 per day
