What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist position at Holy Cross Medical Center?
POSITION PURPOSE
The Radiologist Technologist position is responsible for using medical imaging equipment to create pictures of a patient's body, which allows doctors to diagnose and treat injuries and diseases.
MINIMUM MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION:
- One (1) year experience and knowledge of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Computer Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- An Associate’s Degree from an accredited school or college program in Radiology Technology is required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current State of New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program Licensure (NMMIRT)
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1) year of Radiology Experience
