Position Purpose

As a Dialysis Dietitian, You Will
- Participate in activities that encompasses interdisciplinary care including interdisciplinary rounds, Performance Improvement, provision of nutrition education in the area of nutrition support for the medical and support staff, patient, family.
- Incorporates information from nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and other ancillary staff to manage the nutrition care of complex patients. Thoroughly reads the medical record to be aware of all aspects of patient care.
- Appropriately assesses, plans, documents and communicates nutritional care and care plans following established standards and protocol.
- Provides education and/or counseling to patients and/or family as per assessed need, request or consult.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics or Food & Nutrition from an accredited institution.
- Certified in nutrition support (CNSC) by the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN).
- Active registration status with American Dietetic Association.
- Licensed, or in the process of becoming licensed, in the state of Maryland.
- $32.44 - $50.29
- Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
