Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled High School Math Teacher to teach a combination of:
- Algebra I
- Geometry
- Algebra II
- Pre-Calculus
The ideal candidate believes that all students can learn math at high levels, uses data to drive instruction, and is committed to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous math instruction aligned to standards
- Use student performance data to adjust instruction and improve outcomes
- Create a structured, positive classroom culture that promotes learning
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, assessments, and interventions
- Provide timely feedback to students and maintain accurate records of progress
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school leadership
- Support the mission and values of a Catholic educational environment
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of high school teaching experience (Math preferred)
- Strong content knowledge in Algebra, Geometry, and advanced math courses
- Ability to analyze student data and adjust instruction accordingly
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
Preferred:
- Valid teaching certification
- Experience teaching multiple high school math courses
- Experience in small-school or private school settings
