Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our team and help drive the success of our ice cream store! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store activities, lead a team of dedicated staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will foster a positive environment, optimize sales performance, and maintain efficient store operations. Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service while achieving sales goals.
- Conduct employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team performance and engagement.
- Oversee recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and selecting qualified personnel.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, inventory management, and reporting.
- Coordinate purchasing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract customers and boost store visibility.
- Maintain organized inventory management practices including stocking, inventory control, and shrink reduction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and store procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Lead shift management by supervising cashiering operations, supervising staff schedules, and ensuring smooth store flow.
