Aerial Technician
The Aerial Technician is responsible for aerial cable installation and must be knowledgeable in splicing. The position will include operation of bucket trucks and/or climbing gear and requires cross training with laborer and equipment operator positions to supplement work when aerial is not available. Travel to job sites will also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and splice aerial cable
- Climb poles and operate bucket trucks
- Run cable, strand, and lashing using personal climbing gear
- Assist with trenching, utility locating, and job site setup
- Support underground crews when aerial work is not available
What You Need:
- Age 18 with a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willing to obtain)
- Experience with splicing and general CATV/electrical equipment a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs., climb, and work outdoors in all weather
- Willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends
- Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and ability to work independently and on a team
