The Printed Circuit Board Layout Engineer is an integral part of the IC product life cycle. This role supports numerous stages of the life cycle, including production IC test fixture design, troubleshooting, and support, circuit board design for reference evaluation kits. This position reports to the Applications Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
· Create Holt IC production circuit boards as specified by Holt Test Engineering.
· Create maintain bill of materials for production test circuit boards.
· Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production circuit boards.
· Create Holt IC reference design evaluation kit circuit boards as specified by Holt Applications Engineering.
· Create and maintain bill of materials for evaluation kit circuit boards.
· Create and maintain Holt IC schematic and circuit board libraries.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 Years Printed circuit board design.
· Understanding of electrical engineering principles.
· Understanding of PCB material selection, stack-up, and tradeoffs.
· Familiarity with controlled impedance layout.
· Familiarity with high speed and HDI design concepts.
· Differential trace routing and length matching.
· Switching power supply layout experience.
· Panelization of multiple designs.
· Interfacing with circuit board manufactures.
· Interfacing with circuit board assemblers.
· OrCAD PCB Designer
· KiCAD
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

Base Salary: 90,000 – 120,000 depending on experience
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
