Holt Crane and Equipment is seeking a Crane Field Technician for our Houston, Texas location. Experience on Link Belt Cranes and equipment is strongly preferred. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Description :
This position is responsible for performing safe, professional, high-quality, and timely inspections, diagnosis, repair, loading/unloading, make-ready, and maneuvering of cranes and related equipment primarily in a field environment. Work will be performed alone or in teams to provide high-quality mechanical services that meet customers’ needs and achieve organizational and departmental objectives.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform complex link belt crane repairs correctly in the field or shop environment
- At least 5 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of link belt cranes, mobile cranes, crawlers, rough terrain cranes, and hydraulic cranes.
- Must have own tools.
- Must build strong customer service relations.
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must have a valid drivers' license.
- Pass a DOT Physical and maintain a DOT Medical Card
- Ability to work Monday - Friday - 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
