Job Summary
We are seeking a multi-skilled general laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, including small dump trucks, and roll back trucks. The multi-skilled general laborer will play a crucial role in supporting various construction projects. A CDL is required for this position.
Duties
- Operate small dump trucks and roll back trucks and assist in construction activities.
- Perform daily tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication regarding project needs.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from dump trucks and water trucks as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficient with rollback truck with experience in using Caterpillar equipment preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
- Familiarity with construction site operations, including paving and building processes.
- Ability to operate dump trucks and water trucks safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork and collaboration on-site. Bi-lingual canidates are preferred
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in all operations.
