Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Mechanic role located at our headquarters in Mount Clemens, MI. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty and/or small engine vehicles or equipment. The Mechanic will perform routine maintenance, conduct preventative measures, troubleshoot issues, and carry out necessary repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities may include maintaining inventory, adhering to safety protocols, and documenting services performed.
Qualifications
- Skills in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair
- Experience with Small Engines/Large Engines or Heavy Equipment (both preferred), including its operation and servicing
- Strong Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively
- Knowledge of safety practices and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Relevant training or certification in mechanical or technical fields are preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role for a construction company is a plus
