The work schedule is Monday thru Friday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Applicants must be self motivated and capable of self management.
Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including electric vehicles, to deliver goods across designated routes.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols. .
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with co-workers and customers during drop-offs and pickups.
- Plan optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet scheduled deadlines.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, route logs, and any incidents or discrepancies encountered during shifts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on customer service.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving loads, and performing manual tasks throughout the day.
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and traffic regulations.
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
