What to expect:
Senior Financial Analyst supporting cost accounting, operations FP&A and financial systems of Hologic in San Diego, CA.
(Onsite 5 days per week)
- Operations FP&A
- Consolidate operations department expenses, headcount and capital spending report; perform department cost analysis and provide commentary
- Coordinate FP&A activities with finance team and operations leaders
- Business partnership
- Support cost center expense review, analysis and research
- Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting
- Assist cost saving project validation and tracking
- Support Operations FP&A processes through:
- establishing and enforcing policies and procedures;
- providing trends and forecasts;
- supporting annual budget and
- standard cost roll process
- Improve financial status by analyzing Operations financial results; monitoring manufacturing variances; identifying trends and giving recommendations
- Reconcile transactions and manage month close activities for department cost re-classes and accruals
- Implement structure to support business needs
- Cost Accounting
- Responsible for month-end closing activities for manufacturing variances in absorption, purchase price and work order
- Assist with standard cost maintenance and inventory analysis
- Prepare required month end journal entries for activities above
- Work in special projects as required
- Financial System Support
- Focus on Hyperion Planning / SmartView and financial database (QlikSense, Power BI)
- Focus on Oracle

- Understanding of Oracle ERP systems and Hyperion
- Understanding and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) highly desired
- Understanding of accounting in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced worksheet manipulation skills
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of experience in an Operations Finance or Cost Accounting Environment
Additional Info:
The annualized base salary range for this role is $81,900 to $100,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
