Ready to dive into the world of AI and help shape how a global company works smarter? Hologic’s Enterprise IT AI team is on a mission to make generative AI accessible, secure, and seriously useful for everyone—thanks to our flagship platform, Genie.
As our AI Analyst Intern, you’ll help support the continued growth of our Genie program. Genie is now one of Hologic’s fastest-growing internal apps, with rapid feature releases and expanding adoption across the business.

What you’ll be up to during your 10-12 week adventure:
- Keep Genie’s resource site and Prompt Library fresh with user-friendly guides, FAQs, and quick-start tips.
- Create engaging training materials and communications—think presentations, videos, and one-pagers—to help everyone get excited about AI.
- Develop Champion Kits and support the Genie Champions Program to train future AI leaders (yes, you get to be a trendsetter!).
- Assist with documenting and prototyping new AI use cases, including prompt testing and reusable templates.
- Support the GitHub Copilot pilot by creating onboarding content, best practices, and usage guides.
- Help track Genie’s adoption and impact through analytics, feedback, and reporting.
- Collaborate with different teams to spot new AI opportunities and support ongoing IT initiatives.
Who we’re hoping to meet:
- You can work full-time during the summer (May/June - August/September).
- You’re currently working on your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with at least one semester left after the internship.
- Your major is in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data/Business Analytics, Product Management, Business, Marketing, or something similar—with a strong interest in AI.
- You’re heading into your junior or senior year.
- You know how to get your point across, whether you’re writing or creating visuals.
- You’re organized and can juggle multiple small projects (bonus points if you don’t drop any!).
- You enjoy using tools like SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel/Power BI, and generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.).
- You’re curious about product management, change management, or internal communications.
- Experience with prompt engineering, building content with AI tools, or data visualization is a big plus.
Location, pay & other important details:
- You can work onsite at our Marlborough, MA campus. Heads up: intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends aren’t provided, so you’ll need to have your living situation and transportation sorted out.
- Pay range: $22 - $32 per hour, based on your class standing and operational function.
