As a casual Field Service Engineer with Hologic, you can expect to take on work that allows you to demonstrate your talents, learn on the job and gain satisfaction by enabling healthier lives everywhere, every day.
You will be based on the road, providing exceptional support to our customers by maintaining various types of Hologic mammography equipment. You will apply your knowledge of engineering principles to effectively maintain systems and you will develop a well-rounded technical and interpersonal skillset as you interact with the Hologic customer base.
You will be joining a diverse and multi-disciplinary team that is passionate about making a difference and pushes the boundaries of business innovation.
We are looking for customer-oriented people who take an interest in the medical space and are committed to learning and continually stepping out of their comfort zone. Currently studying a master’s or bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline and in your second or third year, you will possess a strong analytical ability and have an interest in machines, helping people and finding solutions to problems.
You are a team player and a great communicator, able to effectively voice and deliver your ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
You must have a vehicle and possess a current, valid driver’s license. All travel expenses will be covered by the company. You will need to be able to dedicate at least 2 full days per week to the role. There is flexibility around days of the week and the ability to take on more work over university holidays.
