Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team at our successful clinic. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats. Daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine examinations
- Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment
- Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic (if desired)
- Administer vaccinations
- Perform spay and neuter surgeries
- Prescribe medication
- Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being
- Update client records
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Previous work experience as a veterinarian (new graduates welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
- Problem-solving skills
- Availability to take evening, weekend, or on-call shifts when necessary
- Patience and a love for animals
