**PART-TIME JAN ITORIAL CLEANER— TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS**
Holmes Cleaning Services LLC is hiring dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaners for a regular cleaning route covering **three student housing buildings in Minneapolis near the University of Minnesota**.
**Dependability is essential for this position.** We need team members who show up on time, communicate clearly and consistently complete their assigned work.
**Position Overview:**
A Janitorial Cleaner is responsible for keeping assigned building areas clean, presentable and ready for daily use. Team members will work with another cleaner and follow detailed cleaning instructions and building-specific checklists.
The schedule is **Tuesdays and Fridays**, with work performed across all three buildings each service day. Shift length depends on the assigned cleaning route and workload. Management will provide the start time and building order.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Sweep, vacuum and mop hallways, lobbies and other common-area floors
- Clean elevators, including floors, stainless steel surfaces, doors and touchpoints
- Clean restrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors and floors
- Check and replenish restroom supplies using products provided onsite
- Clean designated offices, study rooms, lounges and common rooms
- Clean gym equipment, mirrors and flooring using approved methods
- Dust and wipe accessible surfaces, doors, frames and fixtures
- Clean assigned interior glass and remove fingerprints and smudges
- Empty designated trash containers, including office and desk receptacles, and replace liners
- Sweep and mop floor-level trash rooms
- Follow cleaning product instructions and required safety procedures
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report damage, access problems or supply shortages
- Inspect completed work and complete the visit checklist for each building
- Work efficiently with team members to complete the assigned route
**Qualifications:**
- **Reliable attendance, punctuality and availability on Tuesdays and Fridays**
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to consistently follow through on assigned tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and complete cleaning checklists
- Ability to bend, squat, stand, walk and push cleaning equipment for extended periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work around residents and building staff professionally
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
**Travel Requirements:**
- This position serves three nearby buildings in Minneapolis
- Team members move between the assigned properties during the workday
**Working Conditions:**
- Work is performed indoors in occupied student housing buildings
- Duties involve regular walking, standing, bending and repetitive cleaning tasks
- Gloves and other protective equipment must be used as required
- Cleaning supplies and equipment are provided at each building
**Compensation & Benefits:**
