Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Directs and coordinates daily activities of Public warehouse to ensure that the quality and accuracy of shipping and receiving meet and exceed the expectations of our customers.
  • Reads, understands, and ensures that appropriate policies, procedures, and SOPs are being adhered to by all team members and managers.
  • Manages, mentors, and motivates team members.
  • Coaches, trains, and develops hourly team members.
  • Monitors and audits operations to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services.
  • Drives continuous improvement in warehouse operational systems, processes and policies.
  • Coordinates quality control and damage reduction.
  • Conducts performance evaluations.
  • Conducts disciplinary follow-up as required.
  • Handles team members' complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.
  • Champions Holman’s core business values.
  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of previous work experience in a high-paced warehouse environment.
  • Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Access, and Word. Ability to master internal computer systems.
