Delivery Helper
HOLM DELIVERY INC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for enthusiastic TEAM players to support our Delivery Drivers with delivering Amazon packages. Delivery Associates take PRIDE in getting every Amazon order to the customer.
At Holm Delivery Inc, our Delivery Associates are the most valuable assets. You will be treated with dignity and respect as we welcome you into our TEAM.
Working closely with the Delivery Driver, you will assist in the loading and delivery of the packages to the customers. If needed, you will also be required to provide support to other Delivery Associates. You will not be driving any vehicle.
This is a Full-time position working to 30 to 40 hours a week or more as needed. You must be able to work Weekends.
We start at 9:20 am and the goal is to finish by 7:50pm. This position requires being available to work Saturday and Sunday based on the needs of the business.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
This is an entry level position that may lead to a delivery Driver position based on Safety, Overall Performance and meeting the minimum qualifications needed to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
Delivery Helper Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Delivery Driver to complete the assigned route delivering packages to the customers and support the TEAM as needed.
- Use handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information.
- Load and unload packages to be delivered.
- Lift packages up to 50lbs (Less than 10% of packages delivered will weigh 30 to 49.9lbs)
- Deliver packages to customers while being able to walk up and down stairs and walking on various surface types and surface levels safely.
- You will not be driving any of the vehicles.
- Work SAFELY at all times.
Delivery Helper Skills Required
- Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Heat, Cold).
- Must be comfortable working during hours of darkness.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs
- Navigate safely, varied walking surfaces such as stairs, sidewalks, street, pavements.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during peak seasons.
- Must adhere to the Safety and Quality standards established by Amazon.

Delivery Driver Basic Requirements
- Eligible to work in the U.S
- Must have a valid government issued ID.
- MUST BE AT LEAST 18 years old
- Must have Highschool Diploma or GED
