What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Oncology 10T Full Time Days position at Hollywood Presbyterian?
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.
Minimum Education:
- Graduate of an accredited RN Program.
Preferred Education:
- Oncology experience highly preferred.
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum one year recent experience in an acute care setting.
Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation:
- Current California RN license
- American Heart Association BLS card
- Los Angeles County Fire Card (within 30 days of hire)
- Assault Response Competency (ARC) required (within 30 days of hire)
- Chemotherapy Certificate and Biotherapy Provider Course to be obtained within 90 days of employment
