The Replenishment Analyst is responsible for managing inventory levels, analyzing sales data, and forecasting demand to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. This role requires a keen understanding of supply chain dynamics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels across multiple products to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained while minimizing excess inventory and out of stocks. Assist in warehouse quality control of inventory and testing.
- Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical data, pricing, market trends, and input from Category Managers to accurately forecast future product demand accurately. Continuously refine forecasting models to improve accuracy.
- Order Planning: Generate purchase orders and replenishment plans based on demand forecasts, lead times, and inventory policies. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and maintenance of targeted inventory levels.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, promotional activities, and other factors impacting demand to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights to Category Managers on inventory performance and key metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, supply chain, marketing, and operations, to align replenishment strategies with overall business objectives. Communicate effectively to address any supply chain issues and ensure alignment on inventory planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline replenishment processes and enhance efficiency. Help implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to optimize inventory management.
- Support: Answer support tickets and communicate category changes and information as needed with input from Category Managers.
- Demonstrated experience as a Replenishment Analyst.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and roles.
- This position requires 45 - 50 hours per week in our Memphis office and may require some weekend and evening availability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities.

- Physically able to perform the job functions for 8–10-hour workdays.
- Employees may be required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, along with bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and other physical movements essential to daily tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Fundamental knowledge of the pet industry, pet nutrition, and retail operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and forecasting tools is preferred.
- Experience using Power BI, Sisense, or similar.
- Experience using SQL and python.
