Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced food service environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
- Oversee staff training, development, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of customer service and food quality.
- Manage shift schedules, assign duties, and ensure proper staffing levels for efficient service delivery.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; oversee cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations through regular inspections and staff training.
- Lead customer service efforts to enhance guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with kitchen management on food production, quality control, and special event catering such as banquets or bar services.
- Assist in interviewing potential new hires and participate in the hiring process to build a competent team.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment aligned with hospitality management best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in casual or fine dining
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or team management roles.
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
- Ability to train staff effectively and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Prior experience in restaurant management or hospitality management preferred; fine dining or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Pay: $48, $58,006.98 per year
