WE LOVE OUR WORK.
- Responsible for the clandestine monitoring of the following:
- The gaming conducted at the slot machines.
- The operations conducted at and in the cashiers' cage and any satellite cage.
- The operations conducted at automated bill breaker machines, automated gaming voucher and coupon redemption machines, automated jackpot payout machines and automated teller machines.
- The count processes conducted in the count room.
- The movement of cash and slot cash storage boxes.
- The entrances and exits, the gaming floor and the count room.
- The gaming conducted at the table games.
- The operation of any satellite cage or Poker room cage.
- The storage areas used for the storage of chips, plaques, cards, dice, Sic Bo shakers, Pai Gow tiles and other equipment used to conduct table games.
- Responsible for the video recording of movements of table games boxes.
- Records questionable activity for review and possible use as evidence in court.
- Responsible for the preparation of daily logs and complete incident reports as circumstances dictate.
- When assigned to the CCTV monitoring room, “patrol” the facility through the use of pan, tilt, and zoom cameras and record all pertinent activity on the digital recording system.
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensures that proper security and chain of custody is maintained on all departmental evidence.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Asst Shift Manager.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Security or Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
- Basic computer and typing skills are required. Must be able to learn work-related computer programs.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from employees.
- Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
- Must have the ability to write reports.
- Must have the ability to perform basic math skills.
- Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
- Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
- Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
- Sitting 90% of the time.
- Standing 10% of the time.
- Lifting/moving maximum of 20 lbs.
- Must have excellent hand/eye coordination to operate camera switcher controls.
