Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, friendly, and professional food and beverage service to guests while creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience. 
• Takes accurate food and beverage orders, communicates effectively with bartenders and kitchen staff, and assists with beverage preparation and delivery. 
• Processes guest transactions accurately using POS systems and handles cash, credit, and comp transactions in accordance with financial control procedures. 
• Engages guests in friendly conversation, uses guest names when appropriate, and provides personalized service throughout the visit. 
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary in accordance with responsible service guidelines. 
• Promotes current property events, programs, and promotions and recognizes repeated or valued guests to ensure elevated service. 
• Assists with setup and breakdown of dining areas and ensures tables are properly set and guest-ready according to venue standards. 
• Maintains a clean, organized service station and assists with dining room cleanliness, including host stand and beverage areas, in accordance with health standards. 
• Restocks dishes, utensils, beverage station supplies, and service items throughout the shift and at close of business. 
• Ensures sanitation practices are followed, including timely replacement of sanitation buckets and silverware soak water per Department of Health standards. 
• Performs additional job-related duties as assigned. 

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age. 
• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• One to three months of related experience preferred; prior experience in a high-volume serving environment strongly preferred. 
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly. 
• Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to accurately count money and make change. 
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, crowded, and noisy environment with exposure to bright lights. 
• Ability to respond to visual and verbal cues and work in confined spaces as needed. 
• Physical ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to approximately 35 pounds and frequent bending, reaching, and standing.
