Responsibilities

• The Server is responsible for providing attentive and accurate food and beverage service by taking guest orders, submitting them to the kitchen, and delivering the correct dishes and beverages in a timely and professional manner. This role plays a key part in creating a positive dining experience while maintaining company service standards and safety policies.
• Deliver internal and external guest service in accordance with company service standards
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
• Communicate menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods clearly to guests as needed
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure order accuracy
• Perform all duties in a polite, professional, and responsible manner
• Monitor guest behavior and immediately alert management of intoxicated, unruly, or disruptive guests
• Enforce minimum age and responsible alcohol service policies at all times
• Assist with overall dining room operations, including cleaning, bussing, resetting tables, restocking menus, and rolling silverware
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation in compliance with health and safety guidelines
• Attend departmental and company meetings as required
• Perform all job functions in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures
• Addtional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 to 3 years of high-volume service experience preferred
• Ability to maintain HCA identified responsible alcohol and food service certification
• Point of Sale, cash/credit handling experience required
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English
