The housekeeping assistant shift manager is responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift .
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensures the day-to-day cleaning of the Casino property is performed to established standards on a designated shift
- Ensures deep cleaning activities are performed with minimal impact to operations, during applicable shift
- Responsible for inspecting work Inspects completed work
- Responsible for keeping supply par levels according to standard operating procedures on a designated shift
- Makes recommendations for needed supplies and equipment
- Assists in ordering all supplies and equipment inventory
- Responsible for ensuring OSHA standards are followed
- Responsible for ensuring department has all necessary tools to complete tasks and that all equipment is in working order
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management
Qualification Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- High School Diploma required
- Associate degree (A.A.) in related field; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
