Duties

- Provide one-on-one coaching to enhance academic performance, social skills, and emotional well-being
- Foster a safe, supportive space for mentees to express themselves openly and honestly
- Implement strategies for conflict management and resolution to promote healthy relationships
- Offer guidance on social work topics such as self-esteem, decision-making, and coping mechanisms
- Support mentees in developing life skills including time management, goal setting, and responsibility
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, or other professionals when necessary to ensure holistic support for the mentee
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children or adolescents in mentoring or educational settings
- Strong background in social work or counseling, with knowledge of addiction counseling preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young people
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts effectively and facilitate positive resolutions
