Feeding Therapist

Location : Holly Springs Fantastic Work Environment

A growing private practice is looking for a contract therapist who is passionate for feeding and speech therapy. Caseload would consist of office visits as well as possible home visits which would be contingent on location. Therapist chooses locations for travel. Seeking an SLP with experience in evaluating and treating speech/language disorders, articulation, apraxia, early intervention needs and feeding. Willing to work independently. Experience with evaluating and treating oral dysphagia in pediatric population (specifically children 2 experiencing delay in acceptance of age-appropriate foods, limited food repertoire) in our Holly Springs location encouraged . Therapist creates and manages her own schedule but will need some afternoon appointment availability. Contract position only with room for growth into a salaried position. Caseload will increase as referrals are available. Experience preferred but training will be provided. Competitive rate with caseload flexibility.

Duties and Responsibilities of Speech-language pathologists:
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and staff
- Must write a daily SOAP treatment note
- Able to provide a summary of session to parents and suggestions of what to target at home
- Have good time management skills to begin and end sessions on time as well as function independently
- Manage schedules and caseload independently
- Provide updated client progress information bi-annually for insurance re-authorization
- Must carry individual liability policy
- Must be ASHA licensed and state Licensed
- Computer Skills Required: We use Fusion and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications and Skills

- SLP; licensed in NC and certified by ASHA (CFY supervision available)

- pediatric experience

- good interpersonal skills
