What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Program Secretary (M-F, 3:00pm-6:00pm) position at Holly Springs Elementary School?
Pay Grade: $15 per hour
Pay Type: Hourly
Reports To: After School Program Coordinator
Minimum Qualifications: Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program preferred.
Goal: Assist students, staff and visitors in the school to maintain an efficient, courteous and orderly environment.
Job Duties:
- Answers telephone
- Checks identifications of all persons picking up students
- Calls students for check-out once ID is approved
- Copies materials utilized in ASP
- Attends ASP staff meetings as needed
- Administers medication and first aid - must be trained by Lead Nurse in Lay Clinic Training
- Ensures adherence to good safety procedures
- Follows federal and state laws, as well as School Board policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
This position is a temporary assignment; payment based on hours worked, and as work is available, with no eligibility or seniority for employee benefits. All employees are eligible to participate in the CCSD 403(b) or 457(b) retirement savings account.
