We’re seeking a driven, hands-on Site Leader to lead Holly Custom Print’s Laurinburg, North Carolina operation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and takes pride in driving excellence across safety, quality, production, and people.

As Site Leader, you’ll be responsible for the full operation of the facility from daily production and equipment maintenance to workforce leadership and continuous improvement. You’ll build and sustain a strong, engaged team culture while ensuring we meet our commitments to customers, employees, and the business.

This position reports directly to the President and works in close partnership with leaders across Production, Customer Service, HR, Maintenance, and Logistics. You’ll be the face and voice of Holly’s Custom Print in Laurinburg setting the tone, driving results, and shaping the future of a growing site.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

Lead all daily production activities to meet customer demand for quality printed and corrugated packaging.

Manage and communicate production schedules, priorities, and goals across shifts.

Monitor plant metrics and drive performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

Partner with maintenance to ensure proactive equipment care and minimal downtime.

Oversee inventory accuracy, raw material flow, and finished goods control — including OA, Min/Max, and staging routines.

People Leadership

Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing team (year one team size – 10 employees) rooted in accountability, respect, and teamwork.

Conduct regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to develop team members and identify future leaders.

Promote open communication, engagement, and employee recognition to strengthen culture and retention.

Partner with HR to support hiring, onboarding, training, and compliance.

Safety & Quality

Champion a 'Safety Always' mindset — ensure compliance with company policies through proactive inspections and corrective actions.

Hold team members accountable for maintaining clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.

Enforce quality standards and support root cause analysis and corrective actions when issues arise.

Collaborate with the Quality team on audits, certifications, and customer requirements.

Continuous Improvement

Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Partner with cross-site leadership on plant layout optimization, expansion projects, and new technology integration.

Analyze production data and trends to make data-driven decisions.

Participate in corporate planning sessions and share site insights to guide future investments.

Collaboration & Communication

Represent the Laurinburg facility in leadership meetings, audits, and multi-site initiatives.

Foster strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and customers to support operational excellence.

Communicate clearly and regularly with both hourly and salaried team members to align priorities and progress.

What You Bring

3 years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership (packaging or print experience preferred).

Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and deliver measurable results.

Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

Hands-on, visible leadership style — you lead from the floor, not behind a desk.

Knowledge of manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Decisive and resourceful, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities while keeping the team calm and focused.

Highly visible and approachable, spending time on the floor to understand challenges firsthand and celebrate wins in real time.

Process-minded, always looking for smarter, simpler ways to improve flow, reduce waste, and elevate quality.

Safety-focused, setting the tone through consistent standards, coaching, and accountability.

Data-driven but people-centered, using metrics to tell the story and empower teams to act.

Strong communicator, able to bridge between corporate strategy and frontline execution.

Growth-oriented, eager to take ownership of a facility that’s expanding rapidly and make their mark in a high-trust, high-performance culture.

A leader who exemplifies Holly’s values: Integrity, Teamwork, and Obsessive Customer Service, doing the right thing, owning results, and serving others with pride.
