Holly Ridge Center, a non-profit neurodevelopment center in Bremerton, Washington, is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of Infant Toddler Program professionals, providing early support services to children from birth to age 3 and their families.
Our Speech Language Pathologist Assistant provides individualized family training services to children ages birth to three years old and their families, within a medical and educational model. They work under the supervision of a licensed provider. Our services are provided using an interdisciplinary, family-centered, and culturally diverse approach.

Required Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
• Knowledge of typical and atypical child development processes
• Ability to make home visits
• Awareness and sensitivity to family economic resources and cultural preferences as they relate to early intervention
• Knowledge of Washington State Special Education and/or Federal Early intervention regulations
• Knowledge of the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) process
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Meeting facilitation skills
• Effective computer skills, including familiarity working with MS Office programs
• Experience performing data entry, word processing, spreadsheet, and using databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass a criminal history background check through the Washington State Department of Social & Health Services
Education, Training, and/or Work Experience:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Communication Sciences
• Infant/toddler training and/or experience required
Required Licenses or Certifications:
• Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of required personal liability automobile insurance
• Valid Washington State Food Worker Card
• CPR/1st Aid Certification within first 90 days of employment
• Obtain and maintain current Washington State Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A) certificate
