## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and possess strong knowledge of pharmacy operations.
## Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Ensure medication compliance by packaging, labeling, and delivering prescriptions
- Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and resolving medication-related issues
- Utilize aseptic technique for sterile compounding including IV infusion preparations
- Administer medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Work in acute care settings to support patient needs
## Requirements
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of pharmaceutical calculations
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and medication administration
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
