Pay Rate: $65.65/hour W2 - $78.50/hour W2 - dependent on skills and qualifications
About the Role: We are seeking a Lead .NET Developer / Tech Lead with 10 years of experience to join a fast-moving team overseeing both mobile application and website platforms. The ideal candidate is a true full-stack developer who can think quickly, mentor junior developers, and troubleshoot complex issues across front-end and back-end systems.
You’ll dive into challenging codebases and lead solution design and implementation. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, problem-solving agility, and the ability to context-switch as business needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the go-to technical leader for a team of 8–9 developers (majority junior-level with 5–6 years of experience or less).
- Mentor junior developers, provide code guidance, and elevate team capabilities.
- Architect and implement full-stack solutions across mobile apps and web platforms.
- Lead debugging and root cause analysis of application issues.
- Pull and display data from various sources, including extracting data from SQL databases and integrating with external systems via REST API calls.
- Build APIs to interact with external services and databases, including RESTful third-party API integrations.
- Create proof-of-concepts (POCs) from business requirements.
- Interface with business stakeholders to gather requirements, scope out technical solutions, and communicate timelines.
- Support and enhance a platform that relies on external systems instead of a traditional website DB.
- Collaborate with offshore teams (mobile app team is based in India) and onshore developers.
Required Technical Skills:
- 10 years of hands-on development experience.
- MUST HAVE Exposure to or hands-on experience with Navitaire
- Strong expertise in:
- C# / .NET
- TypeScript (a major requirement)
- Angular or comparable modern front-end framework
- Azure Functions (back-end is migrated here)
- SQL and experience querying databases
- Node.js
- RESTful API design and integration
- Comfortable building APIs that retrieve and display data, including interfacing with third-party services.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills – ability to jump into unfamiliar code and quickly assess issues.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous consulting experience – someone used to fast-paced environments and wearing multiple hats.
- Potentially experience as a Solutions Architect or aspirations to step into that role.
- Experience context switching between projects, platforms, and business needs.
- Ability to get hands dirty when needed, stepping into multiple roles including database and architecture design.
