Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and possess strong skills in order picking, packing, and basic math.
Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM
Responsibilities
- Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Organize and maintain stock in the warehouse using a warehouse management system.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery schedules are met.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory management tasks.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required for shipping/receiving duties.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
