What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Insurance Specialist position at Holloway Ins Agcy?
We're hiring a Life Insurance Specialist in Birmingham to do what most agencies say they'll let you do but never actually do: work an established book of P&C clients for life and health conversions.
If you're already licensed in Life and Health, already producing, and you're tired of either grinding pure cold L/H sales OR sitting in a service seat watching the sales team get all the leads this is the seat.
What you'll do:
- Work our existing P&C book for L/H cross-sell opportunities (warm, already-trusts-us clients)
- Prospect new L/H business through your own outreach, referrals, and centers of influence
- Run needs analyses, present, close, and place coverage
- Own your production number and your pipeline
What we offer:
- Base salary plus commission, with total comp ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 depending on production

Who we're looking for:
- Active Life and Health license (required this is not a train-and-license role)
- At least 2 years of real sales experience with documented production numbers
- Prior life insurance sales experience strongly preferred
- Stable work history last role 1 year, no pattern of hopping
- Hunter mentality you like the chase, the close, and the follow-up
- Comfortable working both warm internal leads and self-generated new business
- Wants to be in-office with a team
