Job Summary
The Helper in the Fabrication Department is an essential support role responsible for assisting with daily operations on the shop floor. Responsibilities
- Follow written and verbal instructions to support fabrication tasks.
- Learn and develop basic knowledge of fabrication shop operations.
- Clean and maintain organization in the Fabrication Shop.
- Operate power tools and equipment under supervision.
- Assist with material handling using forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Perform tasks that may require working from ladders.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Support team goals by being available for overtime when production demands increase.
- Work collaboratively with others and independently when needed.

Qualifications & Experience
- Self-starter with strong motivation and a willingness to learn.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience or willingness to be trained.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the shift (approximately 90%).
- Frequent use of hands and arms; ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in environments with fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold).
- Ability to safely and effectively operate welding equipment and fabrication tools.
