Summary :
The Global Process Owner (GPO) for Master Data Management (MDM) is responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of master data management processes within the SAP environment. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across the organization, enabling efficient business operations and decision-making. The GPO will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices, standards, and policies for master data management.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Manage the global master data management strategy to align the Fit for Growth activities with the day-to-day business objectives of the master data team.
- Governance : Enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Process Optimization : Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance master data management processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business units, IT, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment.
- Training and Support : Provide training and support to data stewards and other key users on master data management best practices.
- Performance Monitoring : Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to master data quality and process efficiency.
- Issue Resolution : Address and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Technology Integration : Collaborate with IT to ensure the effective integration of SAP master data management tools and technologies.
