What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Cleaner position at Hollister Elks Lodge #1436?
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our facility. This position is primarily responsible for routine cleaning throughout the building and moving or arranging tables and chairs as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- clean floors and floor
- sweep, mop, and vacuum as appropriate
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- clean dining and common areas
- clean windows and glass as assigned
- clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces
- maintain clean and sanitary employee
- assist with kitchen cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are needed
- follow proper chemical handling and storage procedures
- use required personal protective equipment
- report spills, leaks, damage, pests, or unsafe conditions
- assist with event setup and cleanup
- maintain cleanliness before, during, and after lodge events
- protect lodge property while performing cleaning duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- able to work independently and complete assigned tasks
- good attention to detail
- able to safely move tables and chairs
- comfortable performing physical tasks such as standing, bending, reaching, lifting
- ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures
- previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
Pay: $16.90 per hour
