Hollis Preschool is seeking a positive, enthusiastic and flexible preschool Assistant Teacher to add to our dynamic staff. We are looking for someone who will support the preschool’s “child-centered”, “play-based learning” philosophy and helps create an environment that supports and enhances children’s play inside and outside the classroom while honoring each child’s individual skills, abilities and character. This part-time position is for applicants who are flexible, team players, able to support the needs of a lead teacher, able to show a willingness to work with ages 2-5 years and loves working with children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Teacher in managing programs with the students.
- Provide developmentally appropriate activities and react to the individual needs of the students.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with all students and parents.
- Cleaning of the classroom/facility after all class sessions.
- Adhere to all Hollis Preschool policies.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.5 per week
