Position Overview
As a Mobile Fleet Repair Technician, you’ll travel to customer sites to perform fleet maintenance and repairs. You’ll represent Hollenbeck Fleet Services on the road, providing expert, timely, and professional service that keeps our customers’ trucks and trailers in operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mobile diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on fleet trucks and trailers, including check-engine diagnostics, tire repairs, brake/suspension work, and annual inspections.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on trucks and trailers according to schedule.
- Handle repair tasks for both trucks and trailers (not just one or the other).
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding timelines, repair needs, and service calls.
- Keep accurate service records and documentation for each job.
- Operate and maintain the company-provided service vehicle and tools.
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a professional work standard.
Qualifications
- ASE Certification (preferred but not required if you have an active State Mechanic Certification)
- Preferably 3 years of experience as a mobile mechanic in truck or fleet repair (truck & trailer experience a plus)
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills in both trucks and trailers
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently

Schedule
- Full-time: Monday-Friday
- Some evening or weekend work may be required (with additional pay)
- Mobile, local travel only; no overnight routes
Location
Based in the Webberville area, covering a service territory across Michigan. The technician will travel to customer fleet sites — mostly local/regional work.
