About the Role
Hollaway Environmental Communication Services is hiring a Senior Communications Public Involvement Coordinator II to lead public engagement and communication projects. This role involves managing client relationships, coordinating events, and ensuring compliance with NEPA and Environmental Justice/Justice40 requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage project scopes, budgets, proposals, and client communications.
- Lead and oversee public meetings and engagement events (virtual and in-person).
- Develop communication strategies, messaging, and media plans.
- Write and edit NEPA-compliant plans, reports, and communication materials.
- Mentor junior staff and support business development efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- 7 years of communications/public involvement experience (3 years in consulting).
- Strong knowledge of NEPA and public involvement processes.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Webex, and Zoom.
- Valid driver’s license; multilingual skills preferred
What Success Looks Like
- Independently write NEPA-Compliant Public Involvement Plan(s) and other communications collateral (handouts, newsletters, media releases, etc.)
- Act as an advisor to clients relating to communications and NEPA compliance strategies
- Leading the successful delivery of public meeting(s)/event(s) with support from the team
- Successful Project Management, including scope development, budget and proposal preparation, project meetings, client communication and relationship development, problem-solving and strategizing, and invoicing
- Support the development of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
- Undergo training to lead facilitation
- Participate in company-wide marketing efforts
- Organize, prioritize, and own multiple tasks while meeting or exceeding deadlines.
- Professionally communicates with clients and internal team members while building trust
- Operate with simplicity, clarity, and efficiency
- Maintain continuous communications with the Management Team and appropriately escalate issues in a timely fashion

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $78,000–$92,000 (commensurate with experience).
