Role Description
The Director of Research Development will lead and manage innovative research and product development initiatives to drive growth and maintain product excellence. Responsibilities include overseeing R&D activities, managing and mentoring a team, conducting research to identify new opportunities, and ensuring products meet market needs and standards. The role will also involve spearheading project management efforts to align with company goals. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Port Washington, WI.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Research and Development (R&D) and conducting market and product-based research
- Strong leadership and management skills, including Team Management and Team Leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability in Project Management, with a track record of successfully managing multiple initiatives
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional coordination experience
