Position Overview
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on technical ability across multiple systems including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily and weekly preventative maintenance (PM) checklists
- Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
- Perform welding and light fabrication (MIG or Stick)
- Minimize equipment downtime through efficient diagnostics and repair
- Communicate effectively with production and maintenance leadership
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial machinery
- Diagnose issues using PLCs as a primary troubleshooting tool
- Maintain and repair complex hydraulic systems
- Work with industrial furnaces / ovens (internal combustion systems)
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Proven experience as a PLC Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Industrial Electrician
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and editing experience (REQUIRED)
- Background in multi-craft industrial maintenance (mechanical electrical)
- Experience with complex hydraulics systems
