Drive Sales- Lead by Example -Build Customer Loyalty
Holland Rivers Ace Hardware is looking for a Full-Time Sales Lead who’s passionate about helping customers find the right products — and leading a team to deliver outstanding service.
This role combines sales leadership, customer service, and hands-on product assembly/delivery to ensure our customers have the best experience from start to finish.
We want someone who thrives on connecting with customers, enjoys problem-solving, and can coach others to do the same.
What You’ll Do
Sales Leadership & Customer Engagement
- Greet customers warmly, build rapport, and actively recommend products based on their needs
- Drive sales in key departments (lawn & garden, outdoor living, tools, hardware)
- Lead by example in upselling and cross-selling
- Coach and support team members to improve sales and customer service skills
- Maintain attractive, organized, and well-stocked displays
Assembly & Delivery
- Assemble products such as lawn mowers, grills, snow blowers, outdoor furniture, etc.
- Ensure products are safely and correctly assembled, tested, and ready for customers
- Deliver assembled products to customers’ homes with professionalism and care
Team Support & Growth
- Help train new staff in sales, customer service, and assembly procedures
- Serve as a resource for product knowledge and sales strategies
- Take ownership of store appearance, cleanliness, and merchandising
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales and customer service skills (retail hardware experience a plus)
- Leadership experience or a strong desire to lead and mentor others
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
- Professional, friendly appearance and communication skills
- Dependable and able to work flexible hours (including some weekends & evenings)

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
