Slitter Machine Helper - 2nd Shift (Attleboro, MA)
An Attleboro, MA based paper converter is in search of a Slitter Machine Helper for our 2nd Shift Operations. (3pm-11pm).
The position requires the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and assist machine operators in our production department. The Manufacturing Helper will support the operation of converting machinery used to process and finish materials according to customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Assist the machine operator with the setup and operation of converting equipment.
- Load and unload rolls, materials, and finished products.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and defects.
- Package, label, and palletize finished products.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with machine changeovers and routine production tasks.
- Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Record production information and report quality or equipment issues to the operator or supervisor.
- Perform other general manufacturing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work.
- Ability to lift up to [50] lbs. as required.
- Willingness to learn machine operation and manufacturing processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.50 per hour
