What are the responsibilities and job description for the IP Patent Litigation Associate - Chicago position at Holland & Knight LLP?
Holland & Knight is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background particularly in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
Some litigation experience, registration with the USPTO, and/or large law firm experience are preferred. Qualified candidates must have an excellent academic record, superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral), a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service and a creative and entrepreneurial perspective on IP.
This position may be filled in Illinois or Texas. In accordance with applicable Pay Transparency Laws, the pay range for this position in these locations is $260,000 – 365,000/yr. This range may not be applicable to other locations. In individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
Job Requirements:
- This candidate must reside in the Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX area at or prior to the time of hire.
- Must be licensed or ready to become licensed to practice law in the state in which they practice.
